The short version

Tunora is a desktop widget that shows and controls the music currently playing on your PC. It reads now-playing information locally on your device. It does not require an account, and it does not send your listening activity, history, or personal data to us or anyone else.

What the app accesses

What we collect

Nothing on our servers. The app has no account and no analytics that identify you. Your listening activity is never transmitted to us.

Downloading the app. Tunora is distributed as a direct download hosted on GitHub (GitHub Releases). When you download it, GitHub - as the host - may process technical request data such as your IP address under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your identity from that download.

Payments. Tunora currently has no purchase flow and processes no payments. If paid features ("Pro") are offered in the future, payment will be handled by an independent third-party payment processor under their privacy policy; we would receive only what's needed to validate a license - not your payment details.

Third parties

We are not affiliated with Spotify, Apple, Google, or other media providers. We do not sell or share personal data. The lyrics provider (LRCLIB), the download host (GitHub), and any future payment processor act as independent parties under their own policies.

Your data & rights

Your settings live on your own device until you delete the app or its %AppData%\Tunora folder. Because we hold essentially no personal data, there is little for us to retain. For anything held by any future payment processor, you can exercise access or deletion rights under applicable data-protection law by contacting us or them.

Children

Tunora is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under the age required by your country's law.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted on this page.

Your download is starting…

Tunora.exe · ~75 MB · Windows 10 & 11 (64-bit)

The first time you open it, Windows may ask you to confirm:

  1. If you see “Windows protected your PC”, click More info.
  2. Then click Run anyway.

This happens because Tunora is a brand-new indie app and isn’t code-signed yet - it only appears the first time. The file comes straight from the official GitHub release.
